YTN is launching a thee year campaign called Crossing Thin
Ice to change the nation's perspective related to the reasons young people
become discouraged in life and in faith and to alter parent's vision for
developing young people today. The cornerstones of the campaign are:
1. A large scale research into a wide variety of issues impacting teens today
to provide statistical data which builds awareness and credibility for YTN. It
is anticipated that over 400,000 parents will download the free research report
developing a large contact list to promote the documentary.
2. A national documentary set to air on NRB a minimum of four times. This will
take the research and provide parents answers from the Crossing Thin Ice
conference that has been changing parents’ lives and transforming their
relationship with their pre-teens and teens.
3. Six regional Crossing Thin Ice Conferences that will equip parents and
create champions who will take YTN's resources and
message back to their churches.
The national study will begin March 1st with phase one results being released
April 15th and with the causal analysis being released May 15th. This will lead
to the documentary airing in June and July with the regional conferences coming
upon the heals of the documentary. It is anticipated
by the CTI Executive team that the research and documentary will bring YTN to
the point where its conferences and resource sales will make it
self-sustaining, while deeply impacting the lives of parents and teens across
